Acts 2 Gospel

First, I would note that, for Peter, this coming of the Holy Spirit is rooted in the prophecy of the OT. He cites Joel, from the Septuagint, as the basis for what the people are hearing and seeing.

Peter clearly sees, in the preaching of the Gospel, a great eschatological event.

The Gospel is a sign of this event, and the miracles and wonders are people being brought into the Kingdom of God by it.
